Motivation via competitions and bike points

Every year Bike to Work organises the Winter Trophy, a competition to keep as many employees on their bikes even during less clement weather. The objective is that your company register as many bike days as possible during the competition. Per category (small, medium, large and extra-large) your company has a chance of winning a great prize.
Cycling employees with a participating employer may collect bike points via the bike rides they have registered on the Bike to Work calendar. They can then exchange these bike points online for various advantages: discounts on the tickets for cultural institutions and sports events, free cinema tickets, cycle accessories, etc.
It is up to employees to get their vouchers (to be downloaded in PDF format), therefore there is no need for any intervention by the employer.
It is now also possible for employers to offer company specific advantages on the list of advantages. Read all about this here.
The Bike to Work Summer Challenge allows cycling employees within your companies to get to know each other, also across various departments. Once a year colleagues constitute teams consisting of two to five colleagues. These teams register via the Bike to Work website, without involving the employer in additional work. They then take on the challenge against teams from your company and those from other companies to cover 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of their home to work traffic by bike. If a team succeeds in meeting its objective, it has a chance of winning great prices.
